Slovenian Premier League club Olimpija Ljubljana's Nigerian striker, Blessing Eleke, has cut short his winter break and hurried back to base to finalise a possible transfer to a unnamed German or Turkish club, Completesportsnigeria.com
The 20-year-old forward confirmed his agent put a call across that he should hurry back to Slovenia so as to discuss terms with the prospective club.
“I’m at the airport right now. My manager called me that I should come back immediately so I can talk with the clubs interested in me this January window transfer,” Eleke told Completesportsnigeria.com at the weekend.
“He did not disclose the club to me. He said I should just come back and have personal talks with them.
“All I know is that there were clubs from Germany and Turkey before I left for the break.
“It was my manager who was handling things so I can only know which particular club when I get back.”
Eleke joined Olimpija Ljubljana from Gorica, also a Slovenian Premier League side, after a move from Flying Sports Academy in 2014.
