Nigeria coach, Sunday Oliseh may be in for a selection headache after a number of his fringe players impressed in Wednesday's pre- African Nations Championship friendly against Angola, an official of the team has disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
Second choice goalkeeper, Femi Thomas was in impressive in goal and also saved a penalty in the first half.
The likes of Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, Ibrahim Salawu Attah, Prince Aggreh and Chris Madaki were also in fine form in the game.
The official informed Completesportsnigeria.com from the team's Protea Hotel base in Pretoria, South Africa that while the ciach is happy with the performance of the players, he now faces a tough task in picking his first eleven ahead of the competition.
"The chief coach was happy with the performance of some of the reserve players against Angola," the impeccable source revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It's a good thing as we have players who can come into the team, if the others are not doing well.
"But that is also challenging as he (Oliseh) faces the difficult task of picking his first eleven in the competition."
The home-based Eagles wiil play their last friendly game against Cote d'l voire on Monday.
Their first game at the CHAN is against Niger on January 18.
