Fortuna Sittard's Nigerian manager Sunday Oliseh has extended the deals of two players at the club, Miguel Santos and Finn Stokkers, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Portuguese goalkeeper Santos whose current deal expires this summer, agreed a new one-year contract with the club with an option of an additional season, the club's official website announced on Tuesday.
Former SupernEagles captain and head coach Oliseh also handed forward Stokkers a new two-year deal at the second-tier Dutch club.
Stokkers set a new record at Sittard, scoring a goal in each of his first five appearances (six goals in his nine appearances) for the club this term but has gone without a goal in his last four games for the side.
"Finn has already proved his worth and will only get better. He will be an important part of Fortuna in the coming years." Fortuna Sittard technical director Charly Chudik said.
Chudik also praised Santos for his efforts this season. He said: "Fortuna has always had excellent goalkeepers. Miguel has all it takes to follow in their footsteps."
