Fortuna Sittard manager, Sunday Oliseh, has reiterated that his ambition is to keep the club safe from relegation, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Oliseh spoke ahead of Fortuna Sitters's away clash with FC Dordrecht on Friday
The former Nigeria captain and coach has led Fortuna Sittard out in three Dutch Jupiter League games, winning one against Achilles '29, drawing the second at home to Telstar and losing the third 2-0 away to Almere City last Friday.
The former Juventus and Ajax midfielder admits that the encounter will be tough as Dordrecht are also battling to avoid the drop, occupying the 19th position in the table.
Oliseh in his pre-match conference on Thursday revealed that he will be without Kamen Hadzhiev, Jordie Briels, Vitor Saba and Gavin Vlijter for the encounter, but said Gain Finn Stokkers is available for the fixture at the Riwal Hoogwerkers Stadium.
"We do not say we will go to the top. Let's be realistic. At present, the main purpose is not to get relegated," Oliseh began in the pre match interview.
"We do have new players, but only goalkeeper Santos has been fully fit. In addition, we are currently also working on the mental aspect, for the last ten weeks of 2016 for this group.
"We look forward to tomorrow (Friday), to see how it is with the team.
"Gain Finn Stokkers in any case, is in the squad. I do not know if he will play, but he sits in there.
"The other newcomer, Vitor Saba is far from being fit, and he will miss it."
