–Eagles striker confident team will maintain fine run till season ends
Sunshine Stars of Akure striker, Dele Olorundare has said the team will work hard enough to win their match day-9 tie away to Nasarawa United to ensure that they don’t miss the N100,000 promised to each of the players by ODSFA chairman, Hon. Akin Akknbobola if they won three straight games after their victory over Wikki Tourists, Completesportsnigeria.com can exclusively report.
“Its a big motivation for us it is also a challenge so we want to ensure that we don’t miss it. N100,000 each is too big an amount for us to miss especially when it is not part of our salary or bonus,” Olorundare who rejoined the club after a brief spell in Turkey said.
“We’re grateful to him for his support and motivation and on our part we’ll not disappoint him and the people of Ondo State especially our supporters,” he added.
Sunshine Strs win over 3SC at the weekend catapulted them to the summit of the leagud table and Olorundare who has scored thrice in the season so far boasts they have all it takes to remain on top till the end of the season.
“It feels great to find ourselves on top of the table. It has been a very long time we got to that position.
“I believe that with hard work, commitment and concentration we can remain on top till the end of the season.
“I know the season is still a long way to go but if we keep working hard and believing in ourselves we can do it”, he emphasized.
