The Olympiacos of Greece midfielder will be a handful for Super Eagles in today’s AFCON qualifier even though the injury he suffered in Greece kept him out of the first leg.
Experienced skipper Delvin Ndinga, was conspicuously missing in Calabar when the Red Devils ran Super Eagles defense ragged and flew away with three maximum points, but he looks fit to face Nigeria in this all important clash.
Ndinga joined Olympiakos Piraeus on a one-year loan deal from Monaco. The Greek champions also have an option to make the move permanent. Ndinga, who has won 24 caps for Congo, has played only eight minutes for Monaco this season and was surplus to requirements following the $26.3m signing of Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The 25-year-old Ndinga’s arrival at Olympiakos comes two days after Malian, Sambou Yatabare joined from Bastia.
