Omeruo Disappointed By Kasimpasa Defeat To Kayserispor

By James Agberebi: Nigeria defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has expressed his dissatisfaction following Kasimpasa’s 3-2 away defeat to Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Omeruo played for 90 minutes but could not prevent 10-man Kasimpasa from losing to Kayserispor.

The defeat halted Kasimpasa’s recent run of three straight league games without defeat (two wins, one draw).

Mbaye Niang gave Kasimpasa the lead in the second minute before Deniz Turuc equalised for Kayserispor on 20 minutes.

Stephane Badji put Kayserispor 2-1 up on 74 while Umut Bulut added the third goal on 78 minute.

Trezeguet pulled a goal back for Kasimpasa in the 94th minute which was however too little too late.

Omeruo’s Nigerian teammate, Emem Eduok, was an unused substitute for Kasimpasa.

Omeruo stated that attention is now shifted to their next league game which is at home to Aminu Umar and Raheem Lawal’s Osmanlispor next Saturday.

“Not the result we wanted. Looking forward to the next game,” Omeruo wrote on his verified Twitter handle.

Kasimpasa are currently 10th on 29 points in the Turkish Super Lig table.
