Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has congratulated Super Falcons forward and the reigning African Women’s Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, over her move to Chinese club, Dalian Quanjian, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Though no official statement has been released from both the Arsenal Ladies and Oshoala's new club Dalian Quanjian, Omeruo posted a picture of the reigning African Women's footballer of the year in the colours of Dalian Quanjian via his account on a photo sharing website Instagram.
Beneath the picture he wrote: "Congrats to my girl @superzeee who has completed her move to DALIAN QUANJIAN FC of China. Wishing you greater achievements."
Oshoala began her career with FC Robo in Lagos before joining Rivers United. She also represented Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Canada where she was named best player and was the highest goal scorer at the tournament.
She spent a season each playing for Liverpool Ladies in 2015 and Arsenal Ladies in 2016 before joining Dalian Quanjian.
