Super Eagles defender Ogenyi Onazi was in action for Trabzonspor who recorded their fourth straight Turkish Super Lig win with a 3-0 away victory against Kasimpasa in the Turkish top flight on Saturday.
On parade for Kasimpasa were Nigerian duo Kenneth Omeruo and Emem Eduok, with the former playing 90 minutes while the latter was replaced on 83 minutes.
Burak Yilmaz opened scoring for Trabzonspor on the stroke of half-time.
And in the 91st and 93rd minutes Hugo Rodallega and Matus Bero scored respectively to seal the win for Trabzonspor.
The defeat was Kasimpasa’s third straight loss in all competitions (two straight league defeats and one Cup defeat).
Onazi who played for 90 minutes in the win against Kasimpasa, has now made 11 league appearances, scoring one goal in the league for Trabzonspor so far this season.
Trabzonspor are now seventh on 25 points in the 18-team league table.
