Onigbinde: Keshi Should Take B/Faso Job If…

–Says Big Boss can’t wait for eternity for Eagles coaching contract

Out-spoken Modakeke High Chief, Adegboye Onigbinde has should consider taking the Burkina Faso national team job if the West African country offers him the Stallions managerial post.

Keshi has been listed alongside Gernot Rohl and Milovan Rajevac for the Burkina Faso job even as the Big Boss is reportedly recommended for Super Eagles contract extension by the NFF Technical and Development Committee.

But Onigbinde who was a former FIFA and CAF Technical Instructor says the choice is for the former Togo and Mali boss to take since the NFF has kept silent seven months after the coach’s contract with the Super Eagles ended last July.

“I do not know how much Keshi has in his bank account that he has continued to live on since his contract with the NFF ended after last year’s World Cup in Brazil.

“If I’m not mistaken, its about seven months now and this is a man with family and relations to cater for. He also has other societal issues to attend.

“NFF Technical Committee said they have recommended him for Super Eagles new contract. Keshi himself has continued to say nobody has contacted him or spoken to him.

“So for how long can this hide and seek game continue?. He’s man enough to decide what he wants. But I remember when the President recalled him to his Super Eagles job, I sent him an sms that if I were him I would thank Mr President for the offer and walk away.

“I also explained to him that Mr President won’t be there to work with him and that he was going to work with different set of people.

“Now, has my fears not come to reality? Yet then some people got me wrong and reported a different thing. So I think the onus to keep waiting for the Eagles job is on him or at same time take the Burkina Faso offer if they truly give him the opportunity”, Onigbinde said.
