Galatasaray forward, Henry Onyekuru, has admitted that their Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League 1-0 defeat to FC Porto was a close game, but he is confident that the Turkish Super Lig champions will bounce back from the loss , reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Moussa Marega netted the winning goal for the hosts, FC Porto in the game.
Onyekuru who featured the entire duration of the defeat also thanks the club’s traveling supporters for their suppkrt in the game.
“Thank you to the traveling supporters that made the journey tonight,” Onyekuru wrote on his Instagram Page on Wednesday night.
“It was a close game but unfortunate result. We will bounce back.”
Galatasaray, currently third in Group D with three points from two games, will host German side, Schalke 04 in their next Champions League game.
FC Porto lead the group on four points with a superior goal difference to Schalke who occupy second place on four points too.
Brian Idowu’s Lokomotiv Moscow, without any point, bring up the rear in the group.
