Nigeria forward, Henry Onyekuru, is delighted with his loan move to Turkish club, Galatasaray and hopes to achieve great things at the club, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Galatasaray announced the striker’s capture on a season-long loan deal from English club, Everton on Thursday.
Onyekuru, 21, will pocket €1.2m plus €10K winning bonus for a year at Galatasaray, while Everton will receive €800,000 loan fee.
“Turkey’s largest team we will start with this trip very happy! I will do my best to make it a success .Thank you for this opportunity provided to me. ,” Onyekuru wrote on his Twitter handle.
The forward joined Everton last summer from Belgian club, Eupen but spent the season on loan at Anderlecht.
He scored nine goals in 19 league appearances and 10 goals in 28 games in all competitions for Anderlecht despite playing mostly as a wide forward.
