Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, is reeling with excitement following his Turkish club, Galatasaray’s winning start in the new league season, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
Fathi Terim’s men came back from a goal down to beat home side, Ankaragucu 3-1 at the Osmanli Stadium, Ankara on Friday night.
Moestafa ElKabir put the hosts ahead in the seventh minute, but Galatasaray equalised through Serdar Aziz in the 21st minute.
Bakary Kone conceded an own goal on the half hour mark to hand the visitors the lead for the first time in the game, while Eren Derdiyok got the third for the defending champions two minutes into added time.
Onyekuru, who is on loan at the Galatasaray from English Premier League outfit, Everton was on for 82 minutes in the game.
He was replaced by Algerian veteran midfielder, Sofiane Feghouli.
“Great start to the season! 3 points Amazing team spirit and result. ✅💛❤️,” Onyekuru wrote on his Twitter handle.
