Super Falcons and Washington Spirit of USA striker Francesca Ordega on Sunday (Nigerian time) grabbed a brace in her team's National Women's Soccer League game against Sky Blue, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ordega had a hand in all Washington Spirit's four goals. she scored twice (6th and 56th minutes) and assisted Havana Solaun to score, then her resilience at Sky Blue's goal caused Erin Simon to score an own goal.
Scorers for Sky Blue were Kelley O’Hara and Sarah Killio (a brace, including a penalty kick goal)
Her influential showing against Sky Bluehelped lift her team to seventh place in the table after the 4-3 win. She was substituted in the 90th minute by Canadian forward Lindsay Elizabeth Agnew.
Ordega only recently played on loan at Australian club Sydney FC.
The brace were Ordega's goals so far this season for Washington Spirit. The Washington Spirits' game against Sky Blue was the speedster's fourth match of the season. She has played a total of 265 minutes of club football for Spirit.
Ordega scored once for Sydney FC agains Canberra United in the W-League on January 3, 2017. Her team on that occasion won 6-1.
