Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie is relishing the prospect of playing against France in Monday’s Round of 16 game in Brasilia.
Nigeria will play the former world champions at the FIFA World Cup for the first time, though the African champions won 1-0 in their only meeting at the senior level of football in 2009 in an international friendly.
“This team(France) is like us. We too have a good defense, quick players and a good goalkeeper,” Osaze reckoned.
“This will be an interesting match. We’ll be ready to give it our best shot,” the former Lille Metropole of France forward who now plays for Stoke City in England affirmed.
France have several players of African descent and there could lie a battle of the physical on Monday.
