Injured Nigeria striker Osaze Odemwingie has hailed his team’s 2-0 home win against struggling West Bromwich Albion in Sunday’s EPL clash at the Britannia.
A brace from Mame Diouf secured all three points for Stoke who also defeated Everton away on boxing day, thanks to a Bojan Krkic penalty.
Reacting to the win, Osaze who was a former player of the Baggies before moving to Cardiff, expressed hope that they continue in their good form.
“First back to back win this season. Right time to pick points and form too. Good way to end the year ! Hope the run continues!,” Osaze wrote on his Twitter page.
Osaze’s last game for Stoke was in a 1-0 win against champions Manchester City at the Etihad in August where he suffered a knee ligament injury.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup star has featured just three times for the Potters this season, twice in the league and once in the Capital One Cup.
