Nigerian forward, Osaze Odemwingie, has stated that he hopes to stay injury-free and feature more for Stoke City this season.
Reacting after Stoke's 1-0 away win against Fulham in Tuesday's Capital One Cup clash, Odemwingie also expressed his delight after making his first start for the Potters for over one year.
"First start for me in over a year. Hope I stay fit and have many more. Solid team performance and we are through to the next round!" he wrote on his Twitter handle.
Odemwingie was replaced by new signing Xherdan Shakiri in the 84th minute of the match.
Meanwhile, a 33rd minute strike by Peter Crouch secured the win for Stoke.
Former Cardiff City forward Odemwingie missed majority of last season after he picked up a knee ligament injury in August 2014.
He just recently recovered from a knee injury which he sustained in August.
