The former Cardiff out-spoken forward was on target in the 22nd minute and was on from start to finish. He has played seven games since joining.
Joseph Yobo (Norwich City): Super Eagles skipper, Joseph Yobo played all 90 minutes as Norwich City defeated Sunderland 2-0 on Saturday. It was his seventh start since joining the Yellow Canaries from Fenerbache.
Victor Moses (Liverpool): Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses was an unused substitute for Liverpool in a 6-3 win at Cardiff City. It is the third consecutive game the Chelsea loanee has been left on the bench. His lack of game time continues to be a source of concern for Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi. He last featured in their 4-3 win at home to Swansea on the 23rd of February and has played 15 times, scoring once.

John Mikel Obi (Chelsea): Nigerian midfielder, John Obi Mikel played the last 15 minutes in his 20th appearance in the EPL for Chelsea, who demolished city rivals Arsenal, 6-0, at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. He replaced David Luiz and has scored once this term.
Efe Ambrose (Celtic): Nigerian defender, Efe Ambrose failed to make the starting line up for the first time this season in the SPL in the league as Celtic defeated St Mirren 3-0 to edge closer to touching distance of the Scottish Premiership title at Parkhead. He has played all games for the Hoops in the SPL this term. Celtic will wrap up their third successive championship with a win against Partick Thistle at Firhill on Wednesday night, if second-placed Aberdeen – who beat Kilmarnock 2-1 at Pittodrie on Saturday – drop points at Ross County the previous night.
Babatunde Michael (Volyn): Nigerian winger, Babatunde Michael played the entire duration of his side’s goalless draw at home to Vorskla on Sunday. The Eagles winger to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, has scored twice in 14 league games.
Haruna Lukman, Brown Ideye (Dynamo Kiev): Super Eagles midfielder ,Haruna Lukman provided an assist for Oleg Gusev who scored Dynamo Kiev’s second goal in their 4-0 thumping of Metalurh Zaporizhya at the Donbass Arena. The former youth international who replaced Youness Belhanda in the 67th minute of the encounter, was yellow carded five minutes later in what was his 16th game of the season. Haruna has scored three times this season. His compatriot, Brown Ideye, who was an unused substitute in the encounter has scored twice in 11 appearance.
Chinedu Obasi (Schalke 04): Nigerian international, Chinedu Obasi replaced Maximilian Meyer in the 71st minute as Schalke 04 bounced back from last Tuesday’s Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid,, with a 3-1 win over Eintracht Braunschweig. Obasi who has scored once has now played eight Bundesliga games.
Nnamdi Oduamadi (Varese): Super Eagles winger, Nnamdi Oduamadi missed his side’s 1-1 draw away to Trapani last Friday in the Italian Serie B Calcio, due to flu. The Eagles star has two goals in six appearances.
Joel Obi (Parma): Super Eagles midfielder, Joel Obi replaced Gianni Munari in the 70th minute as Parma were forced to a 1-1 draw at home to Genoa. He has so far played six games since joining on loan from Inter Milan.
Obinna Nsofor (Chievo): Nigerian international, Obinna Nsofor was in action for 20 minutes for Chievo Verona who lost 2-0 at home to Roma. It was his fourth game since joining on loan from Locomotiv Moscow.
**Ogenyi Onazi (SS Lazio): Nigerian midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi replaced Alvaro González in the 81st minute as Lazio defeated Cagliari 2-0 at the San Elia stadium. The AFCON hero has played 23 Serie A games.
Odion Ighalo (Granada): Former youth international, Odion Ighalo replaced Youssef El Arabi in stoppage time as Granada moved a step closer to securing their Primera Division status for another season with a 1-0 win over 10-man Elche at Los Carmenes. It was his ninth appearances in the La Liga this season albeit scoring once.
Nosa Igiebor (Real Betis):Nigerian midfielder, Nosa Igiebor was not listed for rock bottom Real Betis in their home clash against Atlético Madrid on Sunday. The 2013 AFCON Star has played nine La Liga games and scored once.
Michael Eneramo, Joseph Akpala (Karabukspor), Isaac Promise (Antalyaspor): Nigerian striker, Michael Eneramo saw 90 minutes of action as Karabukspor drew goalless with Antalyaspor. The burly forward has three goals in eight appearances while his compatriot Akpala, who wasn’t dressed for the clash, has scored four goals in 11 appearances while Promise was caged in his 14th game of the Turkish Super Lig. Fegor Ogude (Amkar Perm); Super Eagles midfielder, Fegor Ogude was on target for Amkar Perm in Friday’s six goal thriller at FC Rostov. Ogude was on target in the 28th minute to give Amkar Perm a 2-1 lead. It was his third goal in three games for Amkar Perm. The former Valerenga of Norway midfielder was substituted in the 47th minute by Maxim Kanunninkov
Ayodele Adeleye (Ergotelis): Super Eagles defender, Ayodele Adeleye played all 90 minutes for Ergotelis who were trounced 3-0 by Greek champions Olympiakos on Sunday. It was his fifth start for Ergotelis who are tenth on the log.
Abduljeleel Ajagun (Panathinaikos): Former Flying Eagles skipper, Abduljeleel Ajagun made his 18th appearance for Panathinaikos in their 3-1 home win against Apollon Smirnis. Ajagun who has scored four goals this season, replaced Croatia’s Daniel Pranjic in the 76th minute.
Austin Ejide (Hapoel Be’er Sheva): Super Eagles second choice goal keeper, Austin Ejide was in goal for his side who defeated Bnei Sakhnin 2-0 in their first play-off game on Saturday. The former Bastia shot-stopper has conceded 19 goals this season between the sticks for Hapoel Be’er Sheva and has kept 12 clean sheets.
********Vincent Enyeama (Lille),Elderson Echiejile (AS Monaco): Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama kept his 18th clean sheet of the season for Lille this season who maintained their foothold on third place in Ligue 1 with a goalless draw against Nantes. The former Maccabi Tel Avi shot stopper has conceded 18 goals in 29 games.
Sunday Mba (CA Bastia): Nigerian midfielder, Sunday Mba received the marching orders in the 34th minute of his side’s lone goal defeat at Tours. It was his tenth game of the Ligue 2 season. Mba has been outstanding for CA Bastia since he joined them, having scored five goals, two in the league and three in the French Cup.
