The Nigeria Football Federation has submitted a provisional list of 30 Super Falcons’ players to FIFA for the 2015 Women’s World Cup slated for Canada.
The provisional list of 30 players was sent to FIFA on Wednesday night ahead of the World Cup billed for June to July this year. The list of 21 players that will eventually represent the country at the Mundial will be picked from the 30.
Complete Sports reports that veteran striker Perpetua Nkwocha, Liverpool Ladies FC’s Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie top the list of 30 players.
Others, we gathered, include team skipper Eve Nwabuoku, Precious Dede, Onome Ebi, Mariam Ibrahim, Josephine Chukwunonye, Francesca Ordega, Ohale Osinachi, Ngozi Ebere, Esther Sunday and Ngozi Okobi.
According to the General Secretary of NFF, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed, the coaches are expected to work with all the players in camp for the time being before they make the final 30 that will go on a training tour in May.
