By Johnny Edward: Former Nigeria U23 forward, Yusuf Otubanjo, is looking forward to repaying his new Austrian Bundesliga club, SC Rheindorf Altach, with goals after completing a five-month loan deal till the end of the season from Slovak club MSK Zilina, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.
Rheindorf Altach also have an option to buy Otubanjo outrightly at the end of the season.
Otubanjo, 25, whose progress had been marred by injury, is expected to revive his career after he scored twice in 15 league games for Slovak club, MSK Zilina this season.
“I am very happy with the opportunity to return to Austria, and to go hunting for goals for SCR Altach. My return to Austria gives me a lot of pleasure, and I will boost my confidence with goals,” Otubanjo told CSN.
He previously featured for RB Salzburg, FC Pasching and FC Blau-Weiss Linz in the Austrian lower division before his move to Slovak club, MSK Zilina.
Otubanjo scored 20 goals in 41 games, providing five assists for MSK Zilina before his knee injury.
