Pirlo: Caring Superstar As Etisalat The Caring Brand

Is a caring brand  that Encourages his team mates to achieve more

Italy and Juventus ageless midfielder, ANDREAS PIRLO is a player many of his team mates look up to for motivation and encouragement by his exemplary and never-say-never attitude during matches.

Andrea Pirlo is the midfield general of the Italian national team.

The highlight of his career came in 2006 when he played a major part in Italy’s World Cup triumph in Germany.

Pirlo most popular for his deep playmaking skills and wonder freekicks which often lead to goals was also instrumental in Juventus’ back-to-back Serie A victories in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.

Pirlo won the UEFA Champions League title with AC Milan in 2007 and is still going strong despite expectations that he could hang his playing boots; a great example of his never-say-never character.

This is due to Pirlo’s desire to ensure that there are a new generation of stars in place in his playing position before he retires.  Pirlo, like Etisalat, is a global brand that cares.

At Juventus, Paul Pogba seems to be the perfect successor to the peerless Pirlo while PSG youngster Marco Veratti has been nominated as the Crown Prince to take over from the ‘caring’ Pirlo when he finally calls time on his playing career.

Pirlo’s impact is visible on and off the pitch and the highlight of his enduring and positive effect on his club and national mates was seen during Juventus’ ouster in the UEFA Europa League in the hands of Portuguese side, Benfica in the 2013/14 season and also in the seemingly near calamitous 2014 World Cup campaign.

On Friday, June 20, Italy lost 1-0 to Costa Rica, a country seen as the potential weeping boys in a Group D that contains past FIFA World Cup winners;Uruguay, Italy and England, thereby putting their chances to reach the Round of 16 stages in jeopardy.

Pirlo offered a shoulder of support to his distraught mates, assuring them that there lies a battle ahead to be won as they still have a chance to qualify from the dreaded ‘Group of Death’.

The 35-year-old star is a role model who never gives in to adversity. Like Etisaalt, he is a global brand that will always be caring and a pillar of support.

Pirlo’s loyalty and caring attributes is expected to continue to resonate  as he could take up some more footballing responsibilities.
