Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly look to end Angel Di Maria’s miserable spell at Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The big-spending reigning French champions lost out to United in the race to sign the 27-year-old Argentina international winger last summer as he moved to Old Trafford from Real Madrid in a £59.7 million deal. The fact PSG had already breached FIFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations by spending £50 million for Chelsea defender David Luiz meant they could not move for Di Maria.
However the player’s inconsistent season coupled with a break-in at his home, which has left his family unsettled, has resulted in speculation that Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal could agree to offload him in the summer.
And reports in France claim that PSG will make a fresh move to get him on board as long as it will not result in a second failure to meet the required financial requirements which would result in an even bigger fine.
