Al Arabi SC of Qatar forward Imoh Ezekiel has hinted that a move back to Europe this forthcoming season is in the offing for him, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 2016 Olympic Eagles star previously featured on loan at Belgian sides Standard Liege and Anderlecht before returning to his parent club in the Qatari top flight last season.
"I don't want to be pushy for a move but I believe something will come up this summer. I wasn't too impressed with my performances last season but it wasn't that bad," Ezekiel told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ezekiel scored five goals in 19 league appearances last season for Al Arabi in the Qatari top flight.
The 23-year-old who has one year left on his current deal with Al Arabi SC also weighed in on the Super Eagles shambolic display against South Africa, in which the Nigerians lost 2-0.
"In the first half, the Eagles gave it all but they lost composure in the second half. They need more time to be much more cohesive and I believe they will be much more better," he explained.
"The South Africans had a game plan and they stuck to it which gave them the needed result.
"I believe the Eagles will bounce back well in the next game against Cameroon which is very important."
The former 36 Lions striker made his senior debut for Nigeria as a second-half substitute during their friendly against Mexico in Georgia, Atlanta in 2014.
He was also called up by Gernot Rohr last year for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria but did not get to feature.
