Rangers captain Okey Odita says his side will approach Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League match-day 37 fixture against Ikorodu United at the MKO Abiola Stadium here in Abeokuta like a World Cup final, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Flying Antelopes are close to winning the title for the first time since 1984 and will need to beat the Oga Boys as well as win their next game against El- Kanemi Warriors next weekend to beat their rivals to the title.
Odita told Completesportsnigeria.com at the team's Ist Point Hotel and Suites base in Abeokuta that it will be a disaster if they fail to win the title at the end of the season.
"Ikorodu United are in fine form at the moment and it will be difficult to beat them but we are going to approach the game like a cup final," Odita said.
"We have fought so hard to get to this stage and it will be a big disaster if we throw everything away now.
"Our fans are eager to see us win the title after a long time and it will be a great thing to make them happy."
