Players of Enugu Rangers received the sum of $730 each as travelling allowances for their CAF Champions League first leg clash away to Zamalek of Egypt, Completesportsnigeria.com has reliably gathered.
The Rangers team departed Enugu Airport on Thursday aboard an Ethiopian Airline plane and are expected to land in Alexandria 1am Friday morning after stopping over for two hours in Addis Ababa ahead of theSunday's fixture billed for the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
"We got $730 for our traveling allowance but we still expect them to fulfil their promise for the cash owed from the away fixture against JS Saoura," a camp source who pleaded anonymity revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com from Addis Ababa where the team had a stopover.
South African referee Daniel Bennett will officiate the first-leg encounter.
The Flying Antelopes will host the five-time CAF Champions League winners in the second leg scheduled to be played between 17th and 19th of March.
