By Sab Osuji:
Enugu Rangers will be without the trio of striker Bobby Clement, midfielder Osas Okoro and defender Kalu Orji when they welcome Abia Warriors in match day 12 clash at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Wednesday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The trio are understood not to have rejoined the Coal City Flying Antelopes after the week 10 break and stopgap manager, Amama Amapakabo is the least pleased with the players' actions.
"Orji took permission from me to travel to Jos two weeks ago and that he was going to stay away for two days, but more than two weeks on, I'm yet to see or hear from him," the former Sharks and Enyimba assistant coach laments to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Bobby Clement is reportedly here in Enugu, but I'm yet to set my eyes on him.
"Also, nobody has seen Osas Okoro. and this is frustrating when you have players who can help your team but they keep staying away from their duty posts".
The Rangers manager ruled out possibility of the players returning to their former clubs, Heartland in the aftermath of their unresolved transfer logjam.
"No, that's not the case here, it's not possible. We don't have any problem as regards their transfer," he asserts.
The former junior international goalkeeper says he's not losing sleep over Rangers' poor standing on the log.
"It would have been a different thing if we don't have the capacity to do well. But I'm very sure we have the capacity to excel.
"Against Kwara United on Sunday, we played a very good game, dominated possession, but could not convert our chances before we conceded three 'stupid' goals", Amapakabo tells Completesportsnigeria.com.
