Leicester City manager Clauido Ranieri believes his side are battle ready to face stuttering Chelsea in next Tuesday's English Football League Cup third round clash at King Power Stadium.
The Foxes continued their unbeaten home record at the start of the season following their 3-0 home win over Burnley on Saturday
Algerian forward Islam Slimani scored twice on his Premier League debut and Ben Mee's own goal completed the rout for Leicester City who moved up to ninth in the EPL standings.
"I'm very happy with the result and performance. After a victory in Europe it was important to continue in the Premier League," Ranieri said in his post-match conference.
"It was important to regain confidence after Liverpool. We won in Brugge, we won today and now we're ready for Chelsea.
"We scored three goals and Islam Slimani scored twice and we fought a lot. I think our fans will go home happy.
"It's important Slimani continues to score because if he only scores in the first match we have a problem. He is a good lad and very happy."
