David Moyes has been sacked by Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad following poor results.
The former Manchester United and Everton boss was relieved of his duty alongside his assistant Billy Mckinlay on Monday.
The club wrote in a statement: “Real Sociedad have decided to terminate the contract of first-team coach David Moyes.
“The club would like to thank Moyes and McKinlay for the contribution, professionalism and dedication they have shown during the course of their duties with the first team.
“We wish them all the best in the future.”
Moyes' last game in charge was a 2-0 defeat to Las Palmas on Friday, seeing them slump to 16th.
