Stade Reims are reportedly weighing up a loan offer for Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo. Reims have made an impressive start to their Ligue 1 campaign, having taken six points from a possible nine on offer, but manager David Guion is still keen on strengthening his squad before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
It is claimed the French outfit have expressed an interest in signing England Under-21 international Ojo on loan for the rest of the season and a deal could be struck over the next couple of days.
The 21-year-old winger spent last term on loan at Fulham, helping the club win promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs, scoring four goals from 22 Championship appearances.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said earlier in August that Ojo going on loan was a “no-brainer” as the lack of game time at Anfield this year could stunt his development.
Aston Villa are also said to be keen on signing the rising Reds’ star, but it appears Reims have moved to the head of the queue and a loan could be agreed very soon.
