The Chippa United of South Africa goalkeeper conceded twice in the game. He made a wonderful save in the first half off header from a colombian attacker, but could do nothing about the two goal he let in.
Ndifreke Udo 5/10
The right-back had a torrid time coping with the South Americans attackers who found so much space coming through his side of the defence. He however supported the attack well playing a couple of dangerous crosses into the opponents box.
William Troost- Ekong 5/10
He was booked in the first half for a poor tackle. The centre- back was caught out of position a number of times and didn't cope well against Colombian strikers.
Sincere Seth 4/10
Seth was caught out of position for the Colombians opening the goal and struggled to make an impact for most of the fixture.
Took over from Stanley Amuzie on the left side of the defence. He did little to justify his inclusion and is likely to return to the bench in the quarter-finals.
Saliu Popoola 6/10
Replaced Usman Muhammed in the holding midfield role. Saliu put up a fine display despite his side's defeat.
Azubuike Okechukwu 4/10
The Turkey based playerhad a poor game by his standard. He gave the ball away for the second goal and was awful all through.
John Obi Mikel 6/10
Drifted in and out of the game, but put up a good display even though his efforts were not good enough to help the Eagles win the game.
Oghenekaro Etebo 5/10
The hero of Nigeria's opening game win against Japan toiled hard to impress in the game without success. He squandered a great chance in the first half.
Aminu Umar 4/10
Failed to justify his inclusion in the game. He was duly replaced in the second half by Usman Mohammed.
Sadiq Umar 4/10
The youngster was poor in the game. He never really get going and was no where his best.
Ezekiel Imoh 3/10
Came in for Saliu Popoola and was lively in the few minutes he spent on the field.
Usman Muhammed 3/10
His introduction had little or no effect in the game, but he did well by helping shore up the midfield.
Stanley Amuzie 2/10
Took the place of Kingley Madu late on but it was too late to help his side make a comeback in the game.
