REVEALED: Why Onyekuru Opted To Join Galatasaray

Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru opted to join Turkish side, Galatasaray after he was denied a work permit to play for English Premier League side Everton, Completesportsnigeria.com.

Onyekuru was expected to rejoin Everton this summer ahead of the new campaign but did not join the Toffees’ squad that flew out of England to Austria for pre-season on Sunday due to the club’s inability to secure a permit for the 20 year old petit striker.

The former RSC Anderlecht and Eupen striker according to Turkish Football has passed his medicals at Turkish side, Galatasaray with a loan deal set to be announced once both parties agree the financial terms.

Onyekuru was offered to Besiktas and Fenerbahce initially by agents but Galatasaray acted first and launched official talks with Everton for the striker who scored ten goals in 21 games in all competitions last season before his injury.

Onyekuru has five international caps to his name.

    Wise move man!
Wish to see you shine in the champion’s league proper.
Had Rohr acted wisely you would have gain this so called work permit and start your football adventure in the Premiership.
When he had the room for 35man list he went for 30.
At least, it would had boosted your profile.

This is the best thing that can happen to this young super star Nigerian striker. His future is as bright as the ‘moon and star’ in the Sky at night.

Henry must play in the next match for Nigeria. Told you folks that the stupid Rohr will quit on his own. He is so old and stupid. God will punish him for the pain he corruptly inflicted on the Nigerian people. Oley, God punish Oldman Rohr.

  • What do you call yourself- Edoman? Why are you so sentimental and imprudent to insult a man you very well is far better than you in all measures.
I don’t know your age. I would have asked you to start training to join the SE and represent Nigeria in the next WC in 2022. Please enough of these your thoughtlessness and display of poverty of football knowledge.
My assessment of you tells me that you are neither cultured nor schooled in all standard else you would have been presenting your cases with due sense of maturity and respectability and without necessarily being rabid or aggressive.

It is a good thing you don’t know me. l forgive you in that regard. l expressed myself exactly how l felt because l believe this Coach betrayed the trust reposed on him. How could a Manager not see that Ighalo was not and never could have been the right striker to enter the field to play that match against Argentina. Look Chris, we all have a different level of commitment of viewing issues. When some people, like you perhaps, are defrauded, not only materially, but in spirits and souls, they may put it off while the other person may want to hit back differently way . To whom much is given , much is expected. This is where l came in. l have been observing Ighalo since the beginning of the qualifying matches. l discovered how weak and unproductive a striker he is and equally too, l saw how Ighalo relationship with the Coach was seen to have been cemented and yet, not based on merit but that which appeared to most observers, as extraordinary. All concerned soccer fans expressed their feelings through various available medias to no avail.

With all the financial and material support given to this Coach and he seemed to have responded to such in a casual fashion. In my view, he deserves to be abused the way l did. l am sorry, if any body would have felt offended by my outburst. However, l do not own anyone apology.
In the meantime, there is a rumor going around that your Coach may be moving to Tunisia. He is a free man, but he appear to a sucker . What can you about it? Beg him to stay. Right?

&&&”.but, he appeared to be a sucker. What can you do about it”. l meant to say in the last paragraph. Please, accept my oversight here.

you are right my friend. he made too many blunders against argentina…another was he should ve settled for the draw, by putting in Ogu for Musa at 80 mins. Also Simeon Nwankwo for Iheanacho. Everyone but him saw that joel obi was garbage. The only reason he took him was reputation and the only reason he didnt trust Ogu to come in against Argentina was club reputation. He was looking for a big star to bring in, which was wrong. He didnt accept the players as they are. I think with same backing and support, Siasia would have done better.

I pity Ogu, he is such a powerful and quality player but ve not met a good nigerian coach that trust hime enough to put him in that midfield. Keshi dropped him for Reuben Gabriel in 2014. nd in 2018, was not given a run. he will be 34 next world cup and i hope he is available because his experience and long range shooting will be key.

    • Please brother Chris can you kindly throw more light on what you meant by saying Edoman should join SE. Thank you.

Edoman, ride on bro, you just nailed. Rohr is super clueless.Onyekuru is a baller any day  The lad is by far, a better striker than iheanaco or super flop Ighalo.
