Football is like a game of Chess where the main actors are the Coaches.
A good team Manager is a Professional. He has both theoretical & practical knowledge of the game.. SE has one of the best Coaches currently among the 32 qualified Nations.
To win a match several factors are considered. The quality of ur playing staff, technical abilities, tactics, experience, attitude, team spirit, motivation, captainship, your opponents’ strengths, weaknesses, external environments, spectators follower-ship, etc, etc..
These are some of the variables that would be used to run a test analysis. The near outcome of a match can be determined before the game, if the parameters are good. A good coach can tell u this.
I have taken time to explain this so that my readers can always make informed contributions.
GR knows what he wants. He is solid; he can read a match excellently well & make the right inputs.
I can tel you, he has made up his mind on 90% of who will be on the plane to Russia.
This is Nigeria; you can’t rule out little politics from playing out in the team. But let it not rob the team of quality representation at the WC event.
We hear that Joel Obi has been called up, and few new additions as well.
However, the bottom line is to satisfy some curious external bodies, & still maintain the team spirit & quality.
GR is the master chess player here, let us rally around him to show him love & support to achieve his goal. This is very important.
The WC comes with lots of challenges and we don’t want him distracted.
It’s a huge gamble & the psychology must be right to ginger the ‘Oyinbo’ Manager.
    More Love..

    • I just hope you won’t be among the people who turn around and crucify him if it doesn’t go well for Nigeria

  • Well done Kingmaker, that’s good analysis for ambitious world cup bound team. I want to draw the attention of NFF to this young guy in Entracht Frankfurt fc, Deji Beyreuther. He has a Nigerian father with German mother. He has interest in both countries but categorically said neither Nigeria nor Germany has contacted him, meanwhile from the looks of things,Deji would go for the first football Federation that contact him, so the earlier the better for Nigeria to act. He qualifies for U.20 team at present. NFF make it swift

It is not yet for me to talk. March 7th is around the corner though, let’s wait and see. But I’m feeling it now that some powerful people in the class house and the NFF would interfere in that list and if that happens, Africa, black raised and Nigerians should forget about wining the world cup forever. This is the time to win it. Still early to talk. Fingers crossed. God bless!!!

    • Let’s talk NOW otherwise we won’t see the change we desire. The Nigerian populace can’t afford to play victims for ever. I’m afraid Rohr is being forced to toy the line of some powerful cabals linked to the Glass House as you alluded to, but we can’t continue to sit on the fence while this cabal ruins our chance of improving on our FIFA outing. If you smell a rat, breath it out to avoid being choked.
