Argentina defender, Marcos Rojo, believes the team have the quality to make it to the semi-finals at 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The Albiceleste will compete in Group D along with Nigeria, Croatia and debutants Iceland.
Jorge Sampaoli’s men will face Iceland in their first group game on June 16 in Moscow.
The South Americans went as far as the final four years ago in Brazil before going down to a 1-0 defeat to Germany.
Manchester United defender Rojo is confident Argentina can make a big impression once again Russia.
“We put the bar very high going by the quality of players we have in the team,” Rojo told Tycsports.
“Argentina deserve to be among the four best teams in the world.”
The centre-back is among the 23 players named in Argentina’s squad for the global soccer fiesta by Sampaoli on Monday.
