Egypt came from a goal down to beat Congo 2-1 away in Group E in Sunday's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Ferebory Dore gave Congo the lead in the 24th minute.
Mohamed Salah equalized for Egypt on 41 minutes to end the first half 1-1.
Abdalla El Said scored what proved to be the winner in the 58th minute as he put Egypt 2-1 ahead.
With the win, Egypt now top Group E on three points, Ghana and Uganda have a point each while Congo are bottom of the group.
Egypt will host Ghana in the next rounds of qualifiers which comes up in November 2016, while Congo will be guests to Uganda in Kampala also in November.
