Nigerian duo of Azubuike Egwuekwe and Gbolahan Salami are both delighted to have scored for Kuopion Palloseura who defeated IFK Mariehamn 3-0 to move up to third in the Finnish top flight table.
Salami who scored his fourth Kuopion goal told Completesportsnigeria.com from his base that he hopes to score more goals for his team as they bid to compete for the title.
"It always gives me joy to score and I'm happy to have scored in the same game my compatriot Azubuike did as well," he said.
"We hope to continue winning to put ourselves in the best possible position to win the league."
Azubuike who scored his third goal of the season from his defensive position said: "I'm happy with the goal and the fact that we kept another clean sheet. Also the three points was most important for me and the team."
