–Ties with Osaguona in top scorers race
Super Eagles and Warri Wolves striker, Gbolahan Salami scored twice on Wednesday against Dolphins to take his tally so far in the campaign to 14 goals.
The former 3SC and Enyimba forward scored from the penalty spot on 27 minutes and 78 minutes to tie with Enugu Rangers hitman, Ighodaro Osaguona on 14 goals in the race for the 2013/2014 Glo Premier League top scorers award.
“I’m happy to score twice against Dolphins but it’s all for the good of my club. I hope to continue scoring for as long as God keeps me fit.
“Above all, it’s my hope to contribute my quota to ensure that we as a club finished the season among the top three and if I’m able to win the top scorers award I’ll say to God be the glory”, Salami who scored Super Eagles goal in the 2-1 defeat by Congo in the AFCON qualifier said.
