Sand Eagle, Tale Dedicates Killer Goal Vs Ghana To God

By James Agberebi at Eko Atlantic Beach, Lagos:

Super Sand Eagles star Victor Tale dedicated his goal that finally killed the resistance of the 'stubborn' Black Sharks of Ghana in their Thursday's last Group A match of the ongoing 2016 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations   which Nigeria won 4-3 to earn a semi-final slot, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

After being stretched by the Black Sharks, and with scores at 3-3, Tale scored the winning goal few seconds to the end which sealed the Sand Eagles' qualification for  the semi-finals.

"Scoring the winning the goal was great, I dedicate it to God," Tale told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"After scoring the goal, I knew the Ghanaians will not be able to get back into the game again."

The win by the Sand Eagles sealed qualification into the semifinals where they will face Morocco who finished second in group B.

Tale however admitted that the Sand Eagles got what they anticipated prior to the match between two rival teams.

"We knew it wouldn't be an easy game, but we believed we will find a way," he told Completesportsnigeria.com

"Playing against our bitter rivals, Ghana, it was always going to be tough for us."

The Kogi United defender also admitted that Morocco – Nigeria's semi-final opponents will be tough as well, exuded firm confidence that the Super Sand Eagles will win.

"Against Morocco, hopefully we will take the day. It wouldn't be easy because they've shown that they are a good side,  but we are sure of victory with hard work."
