Super Eagles star, Joel Obi's days as an Inter Milan player seem numbered following enquiries made by several Serie A clubs for his services.
The injury-prone midfielder has been declared surplus to requirements at Inter Milan and the club could capitalise on the huge interest in their Nigerian import to offload him.
Two newly promoted-Serie A sides,Carpi and Frosinone, according to calciomercato.com are leading the chase for the skilful Nerazzurri midfielder.
Obi joined Inter in the 2010/2011 season and featured in 10 domestic games for the club without scoring a goal.
He however featured prominently for the Nerazzurri the following season, playing in 27 domestic games and scoring only once.
In the 2012/2013 season, the Nigerian made only two appearances for Inter in domestic competitions and was loaned out to Parma the following season where he played eight games.
Last season he returned to Inter where he featured in 11 Serie A games, one TIM Cup and five Europa League games. He was on target only once and that was in the Serie A game against city rivals,AC Milan on November 23,2014 where he scored to save Inter's blushes in the 1-1 draw at the Guiseppe Meazza stadium in Milan.
