Meanwhile, Roma host Inter in crunch clash while Napoli travel to Atalanta
The 14th round of matches in Italy’s Serie A could prove potentially tricky for defending champions Juventus as they pay Fiorentina a visit. The weekend could also have serious repercussions for high flying Inter Milan who head to the capital to lock horns with Roma, while Napoli are at Atalanta and looking to get back to winning ways on the domestic front.

Where should I be investing my money?
First up, table toppers Juventus head to Fiorentina this coming Saturday (1 December). The Old Lady – who are defending league champions – already boast an eight-point lead at the top of the table and have dropped just two points all season – they can come into this latest clash brimming with confidence.
After a promising start to the season, Fiorentina would appear to have hit a stumbling block of late. The Viola are down in 10th place and have not won for six league outings, drawing they last five games in a row – impressively, they are conceding at a rate of less than a goal a game.
Unsurprisingly, it is Juventus who come into this clash as the overwhelming favourites to take all three points. You can back the Old Lady to win on the road at just 1.65 while Fiorentina, despite home advantage, are out at 5.25 to spring a surprise – a draw is priced in the middle at 3.75, according to Oddsshark.
But given Fiorentina’s recent record of stalemates, we think they could also hold the champions. A 1-1 draw is priced at 7.00, meaning that a US$5 bet would lead to a US$35 pay out, while you could also double your money by backing both teams to score at 2.00.
Inter could heap more misery on Roma
The following day, a struggling Roma side welcome Inter Milan to the Olimpico. The club from the capital are languishing down in seventh place – behind recently promoted Parma – having won less than half of their league games and worryingly leaking over 1.5 goals per game.
Inter, in stark contrast, very much appear to be in the title mix. The Nerazzurri are in third place, just a point behind Napoli in second, and have a chance to leapfrog them with victory here – temporarily, at least.
And while the betting is very tight, it is indeed Inter who come in as slight favourites to claim bragging rights in this one. You can more than double your money by backing Inter to take all three points at 2.60, with Roma only slightly higher at 2.62 – a draw would appear to be the least likely outcome and is priced accordingly at 3.50.
And given that they are in the better form, we are expecting Inter to triumph here. A narrow, 2-1 victory for the visitors is priced competitively at 10.00, thereby offering a ten-fold return on any investment, while you could more than quadruple your money by backing a combo bet of an away win and both teams to score, which comes in at 4.50.
Atalanta out to shock Napoli
And finally, Monday Night Football this week sees Atalanta host title chasing Napoli. The visitors are second in the table and sit eight points behind Juventus, although they have won just one of their last three outings across all competitions.
After a slow start to the campaign, Atalanta would now appear to be firing on all cylinders. The club has won four of their last five league outings, sit ninth in the standings and are scoring close to two goals per game.
Nevertheless, it is visitors Napoli who come in as the favourites to snatch the points. You can more than double your money by backing the away side to win at 2.10, with Atalanta out at 3.10 to do the same – again, a draw looks unlikely and is priced highest, at 3.50.
And given Atalanta’s excellent recent form we fancy them to cause a minor upset. A 1-0 win for the home side comes in at 12.00, meaning that a aUS$5 bet would lead to a US$60 pay out, while you could more than double your money by backing under 2.5 goals in the game at 2.10.
