Nigeria midfield star, Shehu Abdullahi has begun his career in Kuwait with Al Qadsia on a high note when he helped his club clinch the Kuwait Super Cup.
Qadsia beat arch-rivals Al Kuwait Sports Club 3-2 in the final played at the Ali Al Salem Al Sabah Stadium, Al farwanyah on Friday.
Al Qadsia ended the first half 2-0, before Al Kuwait came back.
The former Kano Pillars ace, who played the entire duration of the game and gave an assist, told AfricanFootball.com he was thrilled to win his first trophy for Al Qadsia as he looks forward to more triumphs.
“I am so happy and thrilled that I won my first trophy in Kuwait with Al Qadsia. It is a wonderful night for me. I am looking forward to win more, my next target is the Asian Champions League as we have a quarterfinal game in the new week,” Shehu toldAfricanFootball.com.
