Super Eagles goalkeepers trainer Ike Shorunmu is still expecting official word from the Nigeria Football Federation over his involvement in the technical crew of the Super Eagles.
The NFF are expected to announce the appointment of former Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Oliseh as head coach of the Eagles but Shorunmu told completesportsnigeria.com that the coaches who worked with Stephen Keshi are still waiting to be notified by the Glass House of their involvement.
“Right now there’s been no official statement from the NFF so we can’t say for sure if we are going to be part of the new technical crew,” the former Nigeria keeper told completesportsnigeria.com.
“There’s a change of guard so I cannot tell you anything right now. When things are made official, then I’ll be in a position to speak on team issues as one of the coaches. For now, we are keeping our fingers crossed.”
Oliseh will reportedly work with a foreign assistant and few Nigerian coaches as well.
