National U-23 Eagles coach Samson Siasia has told Complete Sports that he is busy in the United States of America planning how to excel at the 2015 All Africa Games scheduled to hold in Congo later in the year.
The former Super Eagles handler who defeated Zambia 2-1 in Lusaka in the last qualifying game to book a flight to Congo said he has been talking to some players ahead of the games and also making effort to get them prepared mentally and physically.
According to the former Nantes FC of France forward, the camp will open with home based players while he needs to wait till the end of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand to begin full preparation for the multi sports competition.
"For now, I am in the United States of America trying to prepare for the All Africa Games and I have been talking to some players in a bid to get them prepared physically and mentally. But, I plan to open my camp with some players that will be drawn from the domestic league. Some of them are already in the Super Eagles for the Nations Cup qualifiers but I have my schedule and plans ahead of the AAG", the dark complexioned coach told Complete Sports from the USA.
"I also have to watch the Flying Eagles at the U – 20 World Cup to know who and who will be good enough for the plans we have, though we already have some of them in mind and they have equally proved what they can do.
Siasia is however looking towards to next month before declaring his camp open but Complete Sports can authoritatively report that the former Flying Eagles coach will be back in the country next week.
