Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone has assiduously been working hard in training with his squad, eager to get a clear picture of how he will line up his starting eleven when they face Real Madrid in Wednesday’s European Super Cup clash on Wednesday.
The 2018 European Super Cup which pits the two Spanish giants against each other will be decided at A. Le Coq Arena in Tallinn, Estonia on Wednesday.
According to Marca, Diego Simeone tried out his starting lineup for the European Super Cup against Madrid in their final training session before travelling to Tallinn.
The only absentee was Kevin Gameiro who was given permission as he continues to negotiate a move to Valencia, while youth players; Joaquin, Montero and Olabe joined the first teamers.
Atletico are set to play with Juanfran and Filipe at fullback, Gimenez and Godin in the centre while Lemar, Rodrigo, Saul and Koke are across the middle, and in attack are Griezmann and Costa.
The main changes from the final friendly match against Inter are the introduction of Rodrigo and Griezmann for Thomas and Correa.
