By Richard Jideaka, Abuja:
Nigerian football rave of the moment, Kingsley Sokari insists that he can cope with the pressure of playing for three national teams aside from his club duties.
The Enyimba International FC of Aba midfielder was first capped by Super Eagles where he caught the fancy of Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba who swiftly called him up. Samson Siasia would not allow such talent to go as he also invited him to the National U-23 Eagles.
The 19-year old told Complete Sports in Abuja soon before he left with the National U-23 Eagles for Gabon for their first All Africa Games qualifier that he is happy to be in demand, saying he has the mental and physical strength to cope well playing for the three teams.
“I am happy to play for all three national teams as well as my club. I am not under any pressure at all. So long as the three national teams’ games do not come simultaneously, I will cope. I think it is an honour for three national coaches to deem me fit to play for them”, says the Enyimba star
“Mine is to do well for any of the teams. It is great to play for Super Eagles, Dream Team and Flying Eagles at the same time. It only means I have to work hard and improve my game. I love challenges and I don’t think the pressure will be too much for me” he quipped.
