C.O.D United and their club ambassador, Nigeria forward Sone Aluko, have concluded plans for the second edition of the Ambassadors Cup.
Kicking off on Wednesday, the competition provides a platform for young talented footballers to showcase their talents.
Speaking on the tournament, Hull City star Aluko said he was happy to work with C.O.D United to give back to young talented footballers.
"What young players need more than anything else are opportunities to show what they can do," Aluko said.
"I am happy to work with C.O.D United to provide an opportunity such as this. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the boys last year and I look forward to discovering even more talents this year."
Also speaking on the competition, Shola Opaleye, C.E.O of the club said this year's event will be even better than last year's.
He said: "We had a great competition last year. The turnout was very impressive and the level of participation was very high. We have put plans in place to ensure that the boys and the fans that turn out to watch them have a great time.
"We also want to expose the really talented players to bigger opportunities so that they can make the next step in their careers. That is what Ambassadors Cup is all about, giving young talents the opportunities they need to fulfill their dream just like Sone has fulfilled his."
The Ambassador's Cup will feature eight youth teams and the final will be played at the Campos Stadium on Saturday.
Aluko, Chuba Akpom and Victor Anichebe as well as many ex-internationals are all expected to grace the occasion.
