South Sudan Seeks Eagles Friendly

–SSFA boss wants first leg match to hold in Juba
South Sudan Football Federation has expressed interest to host Nigeria’s national team, Super Eagles in a friendly match, noting that, the match would strengthen the sports and diplomatic  relationship between both countries.
President, South Sudan football governing body,  Chabour Choc said at a lunch gathering organized in honor of  Kano  Pillars ’62 man delegation, who were in the country for an African Champions League match against Malakia fC, that the newly independent African nation is willing and ready to host the Super Eagles in Juba.
He said, though Al Malakia FC lost to Kano Pillars by 2-0 at the Juba international stadium, the focus of the  federation is centred on working with Nigerian sports fraternity for the betterment of both African nations.
In his words “We are friends, we are brothers,  I hope to lead a South Sudan delegation to Kano, Nigeria for the return   match against Kano Pillars in Kano.
“Your coming will leave us with good memories, it is our dream to host Nigeria national team in Juba, we are working towards that, and very soon, we hope to see the Super Eagles team come to visit us in South Sudan.
“Please extend our message to the Nigeria Football Federation, extend our friendship and greetings to the good people of Nigeria, we look forward to hosting Nigeria very soon” Chabour said.
In his remark, leader of delegation and former chairman of Nigeria football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima disclosed that, he had already proposed to the deputy governor of Juba, for an international friendly match between both countries to be organized.
 Galadima said, Kano Pillars are willing to offer any form of assistance toward the development of Malakia fc and football generally in South Sudan.
He disclosed that, deliberations have commenced to set in motion the process that would lead towards the hosting of a Nigerian national team in South Sudan within the shortest time possible.
