Spain came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against England in an international friendly game played at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night.
Adam Lallana and Jamie Vardy scored for England in each half before two late strikes from substitutes Iago Aspas and Isco made sure the game ended in a draw.
England took the lead in the ninth minute through Lallana from the penalty spot following Pepe Reina’s foul on Vardy inside the 18-yeard box.
Vardy doubled England’s lead in the 48th minute with a superb diving header.
In the 89th minute, Aspas curled a brilliant left-foot strike on to the top right corner to make it 2-1.
And in the 96th minute, Isco drew Spain level after controlling a long cross with his chest before sliding the ball through England keeper Tom Heaton’s wide open legs.
In another top international friendly game played at San Siro, world champions Germany held Italy to a 0-0 draw.
And in other friendly games, African champions Cote d’Ivoire held France 0-0 in Lens, Hungary lost 2-0 at home to Sweden, Czech Republic played 1-1 against Denmark, Croatia beat Northern Ireland 3-0 while Austria and Slovakia played 0-0.
