Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is hopeful that Osaze Odemwingie will play for the team before the end of the season after returning to full training.
The 33-year-old striker returned to full training on Thursday with the team after he was out of action for eight months due to a knee injury.
“It’s great to have him back because it was a big miss to lose him so early in the season,” said Hughes.
“After he signed last year he made a huge impact on the team and we could have done with him on more occasions this year.
“Now it’s a case of getting him up to speed and hopefully I can get him on the pitch before the end of the season.”
Stoke City are 10th on the table and have six games to play this season.
