Success Fires Blanks In Watford’s Loss; Balogun, Iheanacho Benched

 

Super Eagles forward Isaac Success fired blanks on his third English Premier League start of the season for Watford who lost 1-0 to Newcastle United at St James Park on Saturday reports.

Ayoze Perez was the match winner for the Magpies.
The game was Success’ 11th game of the season and his 30th English Premier League since he made his debut two seasons ago.
The Nigerian international was subbed off in the 85th minute for Nathaniel Chalobah.
At the Cardiff City stadium in Wales, Claude Puel handed Wilfred Ndidi his 11th start of the season in Leicester City’s goalless draw away to Cardiff City.
Demarai Gray scored the only goal of the game in the 55th minute.
His compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Leicester City.
At Goodison Park, Leon Balogun watched from the substitute’s bench as Brighton Hove Albion succeed a 3-1 loss to Everton.
A brace from Richarlison and another strike from Seamsus Coleman secured a home win for the Toffees.
At the Olympic stadium, West Ham defeated Burnley 4-2. Goals from Marco Arnautovic, a Felipe Anderson brace and a late strike from Javier Hernandez secured a comfortable win for the Hammers.

  • Not sure if the Editor watched the match,might have checked bbc sports for the score because if he actually did then he would have praised success for a good game that could had been a win if only deulofeu converted the lovely passes from success.
