Sunshine Seek First Win At Enyimba

–People’s Elephant return to Aba after Giwa tie

Sunshine Stars of Akure will be all out to grab a first win at Enyimba when they file out against the six time champions at the Aba Stadium this afternoon.

In previous three visits spanning 2011 till date, the Akure Gunners have surrendered all three points on each ocassion to their hosts, conceding a total of seven goals while scoring just one.

Coach Henry Abiodun will have a lot of work to do in ensuring Sunshine Stars erazed their Aba ‘horror’ outings in the past three seasons when they file out against the three time African champions in this one.

Interestingly, the home side will be playing in front of their home fans for the first time since June when they hosted Giwa FC in a matchday 19 clash and would like to make their home advantage count.

Besides, it will provide an inspiring atmosphere as the home fans will want to see their team rehearse their Federation Cup final credentials which saw them edge past Giwa FC 1-0 in the semi final decided Thursday at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.
